The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is proud to be
part of this year’s Central Expo 2025 in Cape Coast, using the platform to
connect with the public and highlight innovations that bring Ghana closer to
achieving Universal Health Coverage.
Hosted by the Central Regional Minister, the Regional
Co-ordinating Council, and the Central Regional Development Commission, the
Expo runs from August 22 to August 30, 2025 at the Adisadel College Park in
Cape Coast, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
With more than 400 exhibitors
and over 20,000 visitors expected, the fair is one of the biggest trade,
tourism, and investment events in the region.
At the NHIS booth, visitors can instantly renew or register,
experience live demonstrations of the *929# short code and the NHIS Mobile App,
and take part in interactive sessions on NHIS benefits and the Free Primary
Healthcare policy. T
here will also be inspiring testimonies, exciting
giveaways, and fun engagements designed to bring health insurance closer to the
people.
NHIS’ participation at the Central Expo 2025 is a reflection
of its core mission: making healthcare accessible, affordable, and closer to
every Ghanaian.
