The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has installed
a digital platform (Dashboard), for tracking the National Health Insurance
Scheme (NHIS) Membership in the Ashanti Region.
The Membership and Regional Operations (MRO) Acting
Director, Mr. Sebastian Alagpulinsa activated the Dashboard during a working
visit to the Region.
According to him, the Dashboard will provide real-time NHIS
membership data visibility for effective management, ensuring transparency and
accountability.
Mr. Alagpulinsa who embarked on a nationwide intensive
monitoring and supervision program interacted with the Regional management
team, District Managers and Public Relations Officers in the Region.
He praised the district management teams and the frontline
staff for accelerating the overall agenda of Universal Health Coverage(UHC) by
2030.
He underscored the need to increasing membership renewals
and indigent registrations.
The NHIA Ashanti Regional, Acting Director, Mr. Mohammed
Muniru Muntaka thanked Mr. Alagpulinsa’s team for inspiring the staff to do
more.
He reiterated the regional and district management teams
devotion to rebuilding public confidence in the NHIS and strengthening
stakeholder engagements.
