NHIS CORPORATE REGISTRATION LANDS AT ATINKA MEDIA VILLAGE | 5/31/2023

The managing director of Atinka Media Village, Mr. Akwasi korankye Enkyi led his staff to partake in the NHIS corporate registration exercise in Accra. The exercise gave staff members of Atinka media the opportunity to register, enroll unto the Scheme and offer those with expired membership to renew and further link their NHIS card to the Ghana card.

Others also seized the opportunity to register their family members, residents around the Atinka media village using the newly introduced MyNHIS App. Staff were taken through the Scheme’s benefit package and the medicine list and were urged to explore the full features of the NHIS App to ensure that families of each staff are covered by the NHIS.The special corporate registration exercise which is organized by the Corporate Affairs Directorate in collaboration with the Membership and Regional Operations Directorate of the NHIA, forms part of measures to increase the NHIS active membership with an ultimate objective geared towards attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by the year 2030.

The Volta River Authority (VRA) participated in the ongoing National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) special corporate registration drive. This initiative gives opportunity to staff of various institutions enroll onto the NHIS at the comfort of their office premises.The Staff and management of VRA were present in their numbers to register, renew and also link their Nhis card to the Ghana card. Others also seized the opportunity to register their family members and loved ones as well. 

Participants were taken through the Scheme’s benefit package and the medicine list, as well as the use of the new mobile Application called MyNHIS App.The special corporate registration exercise which is organized by the Corporate Affairs Directorate in collaboration with the Membership and Regional Operations Directorate the NHIA, forms part of measures to increase the NHIS active membership with an ultimate objective geared towards attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by the year 2030.
