Staff of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)
turned out in their numbers on Saturday to support Dr. Chris Atim, Senior
Technical Advisor to the CEO on the Free Primary Healthcare Policy, at the
funeral of his wife, Mrs. Sadi Yaa Korantemaa Atim. The service was held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Army
Officers Mess, 37, and brought together colleagues, friends, and dignitaries.
From NHIA’s Executive Management, Mr. Raphael Segkpeb, Deputy Chief Executive
in charge of Administration and Human Resource, and Dr. Senanu Kwesi Djokoto,
Deputy Chief Executive for Operations, were present.
Representing the
government was Mr. Augustus “Goosie” Tanoh, Adviser to the President on the
24-Hour Economy.
NHIA staff, dressed in the Authority’s official cloth,
joined the congregation to pay their respects in a show of solidarity. The
family of Dr. Atim expressed profound gratitude to the NHIA fraternity for
their strong presence and support during the difficult moment.
Mrs. Sadi Yaa Korantemaa Atim was remembered as a loving
wife and a woman of great strength, whose memory will continue to live on in
the hearts of those who knew her.
