In the true spirit of
Christmas, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance
Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, put smiles on the faces of the
Authority’s drivers, cleaners, and security personnel through a heartfelt
personal Christmas gesture of food items. The presentation took place on 23rd
December at the forecourt of the Authority.
The gesture, made
entirely from the CEO’s personal resources, consisted of assorted foodstuffs
packaged as Christmas hampers. It was a simple but meaningful expression of
gratitude to the more than 50 men and women whose dedication ensures the
safety, cleanliness, and smooth daily operations of the NHIA.
The items were
presented by Dr. Asare Bampoe together with the Deputy Chief Executive in
charge of Administration and Human Resource, Mr. Rafael Segkpeb, who joined in
acknowledging the invaluable contribution of the beneficiaries to the
Authority’s work.
Speaking briefly at
the ceremony, Dr. Asare Bampoe thanked the drivers, cleaners, and security
personnel for their loyalty, discipline, and hard work throughout the year, and
encouraged them to see themselves as an important part of the NHIA family.
The moment was met
with visible emotion and appreciation.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, the Head
of Security described the gesture as deeply touching and historic, noting that
this was the first time in the history of the Authority that a CEO had personally
gifted Christmas packages to such a large number of staff.
The beneficiaries
extended warm Christmas wishes to the CEO, Management, and staff of the
Authority, and prayed for continued success in the year ahead.
