The Provider and Client Relations Unit of Corporate Affairs (CAF) Directorate in September embarked on a robust field visitation to some selected districts in the Greater Accra Region.
The team, led by a senior Officer Client Relations, Nana Akyaa Adriana Afriyie visited market squares and lorry stations in the Ashiedu Keteke, Okakoi, Ablekuma, Ga Central Ayawaso, Weija, La and Kpeshie districts.
The team intensified awareness creation on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Benefit Package, NHIS members' rights and responsibilities, MyNHIS App, Mobile Renewal Service, NHIS and Ghana cards linkage, and NHIA complaint channels.
The team assisted people to use the MyNHIS App and do multiple registrations onto the NHIS as well as renewal of expired memberships.
They also distributed NHIS-branded souvenirs such as aprons, reflector jackets, and membership handbooks.
The team lead, Nana Akyaa Adriana Afriyie at the end of the exercise said it was fruitful and promised that it would be extended to other parts of the Greater Accra Region.
