NHIS/Ghana cards linkage

Ghana has a target to enroll all residents onto the Scheme by the year 2030 to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

It is therefore necessary for all persons resident in Ghana to link the NHIS and Ghana cards to allow all holders of one card, that is the Ghana Card to access healthcare.
